License policy
The volume of licenses you need to purchase for ENPHAROS JAVA/TP/TRACE contained in DabomSoft’s Enhanced APM solution is calculated based on the number of cores. We first gather the total number of cores of servers to be monitored (WAS servers, JAVA daemon servers, TP servers, servers to be traced) together and apply the weight of 0.5 for any OSs except IBM AIX (weight of 0.75 for IBM AIX).
* The number of ENPHAROS licenses to be purchased (based on servers for operation purpose) = the total number of cores of servers to be monitoring (WAS servers, JAVA daemon servers, PT servers and servers to be traced) x 0.5.
* The number of Enpharos licenses to be purchased (based on servers for purposes other than operation) = {the total number of cores of servers to be monitored (WAS servers, JAVA daemon servers, TP servers, and servers to be traced)* x 0.5} x 0.5.
For any need for licensing for purposes other than operation (e.g., development, DR, testing, standby), a 50% discount will apply to the price of operation server license.
