Hanwha Investment & Securities recognized that maintaining competitive service speed is directly related to brokerage sales given the characteristics of the securities business, and began to find a solution that provides real-time, section-specific analysis of response time for each tier in multi-tier environments. In particular, when selecting a tool, the client focused on improving the inefficiency where a small number of administrators need to simultaneously monitor the status of many services despite the importance of monitoring any system performance deterioration and service interruption, particularly while a deal is being finalized. As a result of its review to find a suitable solution featuring minimized administrator burden, no impact to the system during operation, easy section-specific ON/OFF setting, and automatic analysis of performance issues, the client chose PHAROS TRACE which met all the requirements.

  • Background |
  • Benefits|
By introducing the solution, the client could minimize the burden of administrators by building a performance monitoring system for multiple business areas in a single screen and using an alarm system with a set threshold. It could also produce TOP-N statistics under various conditions and compare it to data of specific time, significantly enhancing the speed of business service and system stability. It also enables users to check and manage various forms of metadata (transaction data, error data, SQL data, execution time, call data of method) generated in the process of processing a single transaction on a single screen, providing easy analysis of real-time transactions.
The system generates various charts on statistics of transactions, which used to be processed separately, from various perspectives, significantly improving service quality, and also allows users to select the proper dashboard for their respective service from various perspectives so that they can perform intuitive monitoring.
